ducks in swimming pool

Keeping unwanted waterfowl out of pools and predators out of koi ponds and aquaculture facilities has long been a problem.  One commonly recommended solution is to use a variety of frightening methods, including audio and visual scare devices, to frighten the pests causing them to abandon the area.

Success with frightening techniques can vary depending on a number of factors.  One commonly overlooked aspect is motion.  Stationary scare devices have only temporary success because ducks and predators get used to their presence and quickly return to the area. Some scare devices rely on wind and waves to create the motion needed, but the birds quickly acclimate.  GetemGator has taken that concept to the next level.
